Anyone who’s followed Sydney over the past five years knows one thing for sure: the girl loves the kitchen. What started as casually testing recipes at family dinners evolved into sharing her creations with thousands of followers—and eventually launching Lynnee, her ultra-cute cookware brand that’s as big on style as it is on substance.
But for Sydney, it’s never just about the food. She dresses to match the dish, treating the kitchen like an extension of her closet. Online, you’ll spot the tastemaker taste-testing in carefully chosen looks, working in vintage pieces and maximalist prints in a subversive take on throwback femininity. Essentially, she's flipping the pan, if you will, on traditional kitchen attire to showcase her personal expression on and off the plate.
The collection features several apron designs (that are almost too cute to cook in), lingerie and sleepwear for lazy breakfasts-in-bed, and picnic dresses for when you're packing a lunch for friends.
"For Love & Lemons are pros at making everyday items feel so special and unique so when the concept of kitchenware, especially an apron, came to mind it was effortless," Sydney says of the collection. "I truly would wear all these pieces in and out of the house."
As part of the collaboration, Lynnee has in turn released For Love & Lemons-inspired kitchen essentials, including polka dot oven mitts, a bow-adorned butter dish and the classic 11" fry pan in a creamy new color way.
There’s nothing like a set of Instagram-worthy utensils to spark some kitchen inspiration—whether you’re a seasoned chef or still figuring out which burner to use. For the latter, Sydney is quick to remind us: everyone starts somewhere, and the key is to be kind to yourself along the way.
"It’s okay to mess up, it’s okay to bake a cake that sinks, it's a part of life."
Although she does leave you with this one piece of advice: "Always turn the fan on above the stove when making steak."
