Sav Hudson – someone we cannot keep just between friends – created her first Wildflower Case that screams peace and love (literally). The case is filled with bright neon colors on a black background with a centered peace sign. Looking at the case, the peace sign feels like it's radiating Sav’s peaceful energy. 

As she’s grown into the woman she is today, she reminds herself to continue to be true to herself. These days she feels very inclined to offer some of her light to the people she is surrounded by. 

“I want to be a friend and a lover and a sister and a trusted source for others to feel safe with,” Sav said. She understands the power and weight a phone brings. It can be draining to have so much access to so much information at once. While that is true, she also acknowledges that it's a tool that gives us access to such amazing things. Our phones go with us everywhere, it’s the perfect accessory that can be a mindful reminder to take deep breaths and enjoy life. 

“I wanted to bring light in a small way by using the peace sign to remind people to slow down and ground and trust themselves. Finding peace can be difficult and sometimes all we need is a little reminder. Neons can glow in the dark forever, obviously,” Sav said. 

Creating the case with her two close friends, Devon and Sydney, was kismet. They’d talk about creating a case together for a while, and of course timing is everything. It all fell together at the right time for the girls. 

“Dev and Syd are not only incredibly beautiful and smart and kind but they are visionaries with amazing hearts and ideas and entrepreneurs that I am so lucky to call my close friends,” Sav said. With so much peace and love, the three created a case that exudes just that. 

Crafting her unique case was a collaborative journey. To guarantee that Sav got her perfectly curated design, the team explored and tested every single one of her many ideas. Sav would spitball her ideas with the team and the girls, screaming with excitement as they created her design. The photoshoot, Sav’s favorite part, was the final puzzle piece to see her vision come to life.

Sav values self-expression and remaining authentic both online and in real life, a mindset reflected in her case design. She moves through each day guided by intuition and intention, honoring how she feels. Staying true to herself is something she takes seriously, which often means remembering not to take life too seriously. As Sav put it, “Being weird having fun doing impromptu shoots with friends and finding a voice thru images is where it all begins.”

As an artist and as a human, Sav is always growing. In terms of ‘Between Friends,’ they are constantly finding their sound. They’ve started to live deeper in the DNA that makes ‘Between Friends,’ that stems from a violent love and passion for the craft, which Sav says is “FOREVER GROWING.”

Sav finds inspiration for herself in fashion by her love of being a girl. Her inspiration are women, especially her mother and her grandmothers. In Sav’s words, “I’m inspired by icons who don’t give a fuck!!” She finds herself not too attached to many things in her closet, noting that she falls in love with new things everyday so it’s important to not be too precious about things sometimes. 

“Expression comes in every form, including the device you hold in your hand on a daily basis,” Sav said. It is precisely why she has always been on the Wildflower train. A self-proclaimed WF girl for as long as she can remember, she used to swap cases with every outfit change—that is, until she created her own perfect design.

Sav’s heart is boundless, and she is eager to share every bit of her love with her community. “My heart feels so full of love and gifts that I want to share with the world. I hope to be creative every moment I'm alive and open every portal that the world has to offer!” she said, hoping to pass that energy along to anyone looking for it.

That shared love was on full display when ‘Between Friends’ recently took the stage at Lollapalooza—a performance that left Sav and Brandon feeling amazed. Reflecting on the milestone, Sav shared: “40 thousand people partying at 3pm in the afternoon is not an easy thing to accomplish. Feeling gratitude and grounding myself in the love that was shared on stage between us all. Being able to tie a bow on our ‘WOW!’ show in that way felt very cathartic.”

So many exciting things are on the horizon for Sav, including working on a new ‘Between Friends’ album… 

“Working on our new album at the moment feeling very inspired to be making art that I love, very spiritual. Working with friends and playing shows and dancing FOREVER!!!”
